and Kids divisions with cash prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
winners both divisions. WHY??
To benefit a fund set up for parents of children hospitalized in
the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. This fund allows the staff to
assist families with immediate needs for lodging, gas, meals, etc.
The local children's hospital transports children from a 250 mile radius
- displacing a large number of families during a crisis. A little
assistance goes a long way. This is just our way of "Paying
it Forward" and easing their burden. For
those of you who do not wish to indulge in an "all you can
eat" event, you can still support our efforts with a cash
donation. The "I survived.." t-shirts will be
available for purchase as long as supplies last. For
